Al Machboos

Chelo Kebab

It is a dish served with rice, butter, basil, onions, and grilled tomatoes. It is served hot and the best way to enjoy this food is to eat with the right hand without fork and knife. Kebab is made of lamb meat with ingredients such as onion, tomato, lemon juice, oil, salt etc and grilled on metal skewers. It will cost you around AED 75 to 120 for two people.

Manousheh

It is a kind of local pizza and perfect for your breakfast in Dubai. Its base is made with stretched dough or a flatbread and filled with toppings like akkawi cheese, zaatar herbs, olive oil, minced lamb meat, sweet jam, eggs etc. It will cost you AED 95 to 175 for per plate.

Al Harees

It is an Arab dish made with boiled or coarsely ground wheat mixed with meat (chicken or mutton) and salt. It is cooked on special occasions like wedding, Eid, Ramadan etc. It is cooked until the meat gets fully dissolved into wheat. It is traditionally served in a clay pot and topped with local ghee. Its consistency lies between a porridge and a dumpling. It will cost you AED 50 to 70 per plate.

Tabbouleh

Baba Ganoush is one of the famous dishes of Dubai cuisine. It is made with smoked eggplant, onion, tomatoes, garlic, lemon juice, sea salt, and olive oil. Some people use fresh chopped parsley or basil to garnish and give a perfect look to the dish. It is best when served with hot bread. It will cost you AED 100 for two people.

FALAFEL PLATTER

Falafel is one of the most famous dishes in the UAE. You can find it at middle eastern food restaurant JLT like Saj & Co. They served it with pickle and tahini sauce. It may cost you AED 70 for two people.
